Assos Active Wear Cleanser is a gentle but highly effective detergent that’s delicate on elastic fibers and pH neutral, making it perfect for washing jerseys, bibs, and other cycling clothes.
Athletic apparel is, almost by definition, designed to wick sweat, and synthetic fibers are infamous for holding onto odors. It can be tempting to hit your dirtiest kit with your toughest detergent but many riders have discovered the hard way that spandex is fragile and can degrade with harsh chemicals even on the delicate cycle.
This wash has been specifically formulated to gently but effectively neutralize odors and clean the premium textiles used in Assos products (or any other top-end apparel.) It also rinses fully to preserve fabric breathability and color sharpness—and prevent a sudsy chamois in the rain.
